Under construction since early 2021, Agadir’s new high-service-level Trambus line (see photo) is set to enter service on 19 April 2026. Originally planned for 2023 and postponed first to late 2024, then to 16 December 2025, this launch is therefore eagerly awaited.

The Hyper U supermarket is coming to Agadir. It is scheduled to open at the end of August 2025. In Morocco, the first supermarket in this chain opened in April 2024 in Casablanca (see photo). The one in Agadir will be the second. However, smaller U stores are also operating in Casablanca, Rabat and Salé. The Hyper U in Agadir, which is similar in size to a Super U in France, is currently being built next to the Kitea furniture store.
